Become a dealer
You already have the customers, the yard and the forklift. We have the product your range is missing.
Becoming a Snelbox dealer
Snelbox distributes demountable steel units across Europe: storage containers and insulated cabins that are shipped flat and bolted together on site. We do not sell to end customers ourselves. Dealers do that.
This page is for companies that could be one of those dealers. You already sell to people who ask for this, you have a yard and a forklift, and there is a gap in your range that we can fill.
You start with a few units, not with a full container
This is the difference that matters most to you, so it goes first.
With most suppliers in this segment you buy by the container. That means one large amount up front, a full load standing in your yard, and all of the risk on your side — for a brand you do not know yet.
With us you do not have to fill a shipment on your own. If your order does not make up a full load, it travels with the next shipment. In practice:
- You can start small. A few units to begin with, in the sizes you believe fit your own customers.
- You test demand before you scale. If a size sells, you order more of it. If it does not, you are not sitting on stock.
- The first decision is a small decision. You do not have to rewrite a year plan to find out whether this works.
Put simply: start with a few units. Once you sell them, you order more.
Lead time depends on how much you order: count on 15, 30 or 45 days, with a larger order taking the longer term. That is because an order travels with the shipping schedule; in the conversation we show you what that schedule looks like and what it means for your planning.
What you would be selling
One product type — demountable steel — in two lines. The lines speak to different customers, and therefore to different dealers.
The storage line: S, M, L and XL
Uninsulated steel storage containers. Shipped flat, bolted together, and ready to be dismantled and rebuilt elsewhere. Galvanised base frame, forklift pockets, stackable.
This line fits:
- Sea container traders. Your customer wants something lighter than a sea container, or has no crane on site. That is a conversation you lose today; this line gives you an answer to it.
- Unit rental companies. You buy units for your fleet anyway, and you regularly meet customers who would rather buy than rent.
- Builders' merchants. Your contractor customers need materials and tool storage on every project.
- Suppliers to agriculture. Customers with their own land who need dry, lockable outdoor storage.
The cabin line: KS, KM, KL and KXL
Insulated cabins with EPS in the wall and ceiling panels, a steel door, a pvc window and a finished floor. Meant for spaces people sit in: site huts, offices, changing rooms, garden offices.
This line fits:
- Garden building and outdoor living dealers. A steel alternative next to timber, without the painting and maintenance story.
- Sellers of prefab garden offices. An entry level below your current range, for the customer who walks away on price today.
- Suppliers to landscapers. An extra line on the quote for garden projects you are already carrying out.
Technical data per size is on the models pages. What is published there has been verified; what is not yet fixed is deliberately left out.
Incoming requests belong with the dealer
This site is not our sales channel — it is your sales tool. Your customer searches for "Snelbox" and should find a real brand, with product pages, dimensions and images he can put in front of his own client.
Requests that come in through the quote form are meant to go to the nearest dealer rather than be handled by us. That is the intent and that is how we are building it. It is not in place today, so we make no promise about it; we would rather tell you how it will work than suggest something exists that does not.
What we expect from a dealer
Three things, and they hang together:
- A customer base that already asks for this. We are not looking for someone who has to open a new market, but for someone already having the conversation.
- A yard and a forklift. Loading and unloading flat-packed units without a crane is exactly the advantage — but it does take a forklift.
- Sales in your own hands. You handle the selling, the delivery and the relationship with your customer. Assembly can become a service of your own on top of that.
What we settle in the conversation
Some things belong in a dealer agreement, not on a web page. We would rather discuss them with you once, properly, than half-state them here:
- Purchase terms and your margin — this decides whether the business case works for you, so we put it first, with figures on the table.
- What you start with and how you scale — which sizes, what quantity to begin with.
- The shipping schedule — when an order leaves and what you can tell your customer.
- Territory arrangements — whether we work with an assigned area, and how wide that would be.
- Warranty and service — the units carry a one-year warranty. Who picks up what when something is wrong, and how parts are handled, is something we agree on.
- Direct sales and channel arrangements. You are right to ask this, and the answer is too important for one line on a website. How we handle requests that reach us directly is something we fix in the conversation, including what it means for your customers.
- Documentation. We go through what you need to be able to show your business clients; we put nothing in writing here that is not yet settled.
Where we stand today
Honest about the timing, because you want it in your planning.
Snelbox is our own brand. The units are produced to our own specification and under our own name; we are the brand owner and the distributor for the whole of Europe, not a middleman reselling whatever happens to be in stock. We do not disclose our production partner — that is part of the arrangements we have there, and the same protection will apply to you.
The company is being registered this autumn. Until then we are not selling, and no prices appear on this site. We are using this period to build the dealer network, and we would rather talk to you now than once the map is already covered.
We are based in Hoofddorp, in the middle of the Randstad, so meeting at our place or at your yard is straightforward either way.
